Q: Summary of Program

A: Building Construction is a three-year course designed to introduce students to various aspects of the construction industry. With a new curriculum in place, our students will learn about each stage of the construction process from site layout, to foundations, to floor and wall systems, to roofing, to electrical and plumbing. Students will benefit from classroom instruction as well as receive hands-on training in these areas. Students will gain a marketable skill which will make them appealing to future employers. They will also gain knowledge and skills that they can use for a lifetime even if they choose another career path.
