VISION
STATEMENT:
Calera Middle School will strive to
inspire
all students to reach their potential,
educate
all students to utilize and evaluate knowledge, and
empower
all students to become responsible, contributing citizens.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Calera Middle School commits itself to provide ideal learning
experiences which continue to promote the development of each child within a
safe, secure learning environment while preparing them for future academic
endeavors.
BELIEFS:
1. Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process.
2. Interactions with adults and other students contribute to student learning.
3. Students learn best when our staff maintains high expectations for learning.
4. Students learn more when provided with a variety of instructional approaches.
5. A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.
