Michele Shepherd, Principal

Michele Shepherd is the Principal at the Linda Nolen Learning Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Alabama A and M University of Huntsville, Alabama, and her Masters in Education degree from Alabama State University and the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Mrs. Shepherd received her Administration Certification from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has nineteen years of teaching experience and four years as Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Shepherd enjoys her job. She gets very ecstatic when the children at the LNLC can go back to their community school and show success. She continues to find new and innovative ways in helping children to learn about themselves, feel connected to their teachers, and build the foundation for learning.

Mrs. Shepherd has one daughter, Britney.

Mr. Todd Crenshaw - Assistant Principal

Mr. Crenshaw is entering his 15th year as a special educator and his 12th year at The Linda Nolen Learning Center. Prior to becoming the administrative assistant at The Linda Nolen Learning Center in 2012, he taught 6th graders in an alternative environment. Mr. Crenshaw earned his B.S in Urban Studies from Jackson State University, his M.Ed in Special Education from the University of New Orleans, and his M.Ed in Teacher Leadership from the University of Montevallo.
