About Us
Meadow View Elementary opened its doors in late July of 2000. Meadow View Elementary was built in a beautiful meadow which was flanked by a pecan grove (which is now a developing subdivision) and a brand new subdivision on the other side. Now Meadow View is one of the largest K-3 schools in Shelby County Alabama. It is filled with 1000+ students and over 80+ professional faculty and staff members. The faculty and staff members are dedicated to providing the best education possible to all students at Meadow View Elementary.
MVES is the recipient of the School Culture Award for Shelby County: 2007-08 & 2008-09.
