| Program Information |
The Drafting Design Program at SOT is a fun, challenging and rewarding 2
year Career-Technical program that introduces the student to AutoCAD and the design process. The first year is focused on
engineering and the development of CAD skills and knowledge. Architecture and Architectural CAD applications become the
focus for the 2nd year student. The program has a dual emphasis.
1. To provide the college-bound architectural or
engineering student with a strong CAD foundation from which to
build their professional career.
2. To provide students bound for the work force
right out of high school with the necessary CAD skills to obtain
an entry-level CAD position upon graduation. |
