STI Home Frequently Asked Questions

What is it?

STI Home is a way for parents and students to access their child's grades and attendance from home or at work through the internet.

What does it cost?

Because of operating cost and charge for the program, there is an annual subscription charge of $20.00. Each additional child in the household is $10.00. If you wish to enroll during the 2nd semester, these fees are cut in half.

What will I be able to see?

At this time, daily grades and attendance will be available. You will be able to view tardies, absences, and excuses as they are posted in the computer.

How often is the information on the site updated?

All data that has been entered on any school day will be uploaded that night to the site. The date and time of the last update will be displayed at the bottom of the page.

How often do the teachers update their class information?

Attendance is entered and maintained daily. However, teachers are only required to update their grade-book information at 3-week intervals for the progress reports and report card grade posting purposes. Many teacher enter their grades daily, but it is not required to do so.

How long is this service available?

Each year the service will begin by the third week of school and will be turned off three weeks after the end of school. If you wish to re-subscribe for the next year, you will have to repeat the enrollment process. Please remember that as with all internet sites there are sometimes down-times when servers are not available.

Is this a secure site?

All information is downloaded daily to a secure website located off-campus and maintained by the company that provides our database. You will NOT be accessing the server at THS. Once you have filled out all of the required forms you will be given an instruction sheet and a PIN number that allows you to access your child's information. Your child's name will NOT appear anywhere on the page. Only teacher's names will be listed on the site.
