Calera eSports is an AHSAA-sanctioned sport focused on competitive video gaming both on PC and consoles. The sport is held in both Fall and Spring with once a week practices. Games are streamed on Twitch. Games played include League of Legends (LoL), Rocket League (RL) and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate (SSBU).

eSports also follows the Athletic Code of Conduct, Grade requirements, Sportsmanship training, etc. just like all the other traditional sports.
