Apply Now for School Meal Benefits for the 2026-2027 School Year!

For the entire 26-27 school year, Shelby County Schools will provide breakfast at no cost to all students. This was made possible through supplemental funding from the state of Alabama.

Please complete the meal benefit application in order to receive full access to free and reduced-priced meals and other benefits. Completion of the meal benefits application ensures the success of the program and continued federal funding.

Kindergarten and newly enrolled students will not receive a benefit notification letter until AFTER the first day of school. The benefits WILL be applied to the first day of school. If you receive multiple notification letters, the greatest benefit will apply.
