Our FCS students have been busy bringing industry skills to life! 👩‍🍳✨ Hospitality students explored careers in sports, recreation, and attractions before wrapping up with a sports-themed pizza lab.🍕Food & Beverage students learned from a local restaurant owner and participated in hands-on kitchen simulations, including creating scratch-made vinaigrettes.🥗Cultural Foods students studied the Hawaiian Islands, hosted a mini luau, and connected food, tourism, and culture.🍍 To celebrate Fat Tuesday, classes prepared jambalaya, shrimp po’boys, and king cakes while applying professional culinary techniques.🎉 We’re proud of their teamwork, creativity, and commitment to hands-on learning!

You’ll learn how to use real power tools, wire outlets and switches, and even weld metal together with fire—all while creating awesome projects you’ll get to take home!

We want to thank the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Montevallo PD, and Student Services Division for assisting with this safety measure.
