Students & Parents
Oak Mountain High School is a four-year public high school in northern Shelby County and is part of Shelby County Schools District. Oak Mountain students can choose to take any of the 16 Advanced Placement courses. Oak Mountain students are also eligible for dual enrollment at Jefferson State Community College, allowing them to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Oak Mountain competes in AHSAA Class 7A athletics.
