Christopher Myles

Christopher Myles, Principal

Mr. Myles has over 10 years experience in public education as a teacher and as an assistant principal. He graduated in 2011 from Faulkner University with his bachelor's degree in History. He taught United States History at Thompson High School while also coaching football and baseball. He also holds a Master's degree and Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Montevallo. He is married to his wife Samantha and they have a daughter, McKenzie.

Jennifer McCaleb

Jennifer McCaleb, Assistant Principal

Ms. McCaleb has over 20 years of experience in education. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in Secondary Education and Instructional Leadership from the University of Montevallo. She is currently pursuing an educational specialist degree in Instructional Technology.

Russell Leonard

Russell Leonard, Assistant Principal

Mr. Leonard earned a bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts and a master’s degree in administration of elementary and secondary education from Auburn University. Leonard will complete his education specialist degree in educational leadership from the University of Alabama and then hopes to pursue a doctorate in education degree.

Maurice Whiting

Maurice Whiting, Assistant Principal

Mr. Whiting, a graduate of Shelby County High School, has over ten years of experience in education and was most recently serving as the administrative assistant at Calera High.
