Girls Can Construction Camp will be held June 9–11, 2026, from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM at the Career Technical Education Center in Columbiana. This FREE, hands-on camp is open to girls currently in 8th–10th grades across Shelby County. Participants will explore carpentry, welding, and electrical trades while completing projects they’ll take home on the final day. Lunch, snacks, and drinks are provided daily. Space is limited to 45 students, and campers are selected through an application process. The application deadline is March 20, and the application can be found here:
