Due to the threat of severe weather, the Calera High School Graduation Ceremony will be moved up thirty minutes to start at 6:00 PM tonight at the Pelham Civic Center. For all involved, please note the following time changes:
-The ceremony will now start at 6:00 PM (not 6:30 PM)
-Graduates will need to arrive at the Pelham Civic Center no later than 4:30 PM
-Doors will open to guests at 5:00 PM
-Faculty will need to arrive at 4:15 PM

Parents,
Attached you will find the exam schedule for Semester Exams starting Friday, May 16. If a student plans to check out after his/her exams, the google form below must be filled out by a parent.
https://forms.gle/83k9pmWo6MGEiNbL8

Parent and Students, please read carefully and in its entirety.
All chromebooks MUST be turned into the issuing school and may NOT be kept over the summer. Students will turn in their assigned device during their English class per the provided schedule, with all chromebooks being turned in by Friday, May 16, 2025. Students taking AP exams, dual enrollment English, virtual, or homebound classes: please note your place in the provided schedule.
The chromebook, charger, and case must be personally turned in by the student and allowed time for assessment by the librarians. Students may not turn in their devices via friend, family member, leaving in a locker/classroom/hallway/etc. Devices may not be left/dropped off at the front desk without being assessed by the librarians. Chromebooks not returned properly by Friday, May 16, 2025 will be reported as lost/stolen and result in a chromebook and charger replacement fee of $330.
Devices must be charged to at least 50% at the time of check-in so functionality may be assessed and the device does not sit dead all summer. All personal items should be removed from the chromebook case prior to check-in; the case should only contain the chromebook and matching charger.
As stated at the time of device assignment, all items (chromebook, matching chromebook charger, district-issued chromebook case) must be returned in the condition they were assigned. (No stickers, scratches, paint/writing/drawings, etc.) Failure to turn in all items at the time of check in will result in replacement fee(s). For example, if a student does not return the charger that matches their assigned chromebook at the same time they turn in their chromebook, they will be assessed a replacement charger fee of $30. We will not accept chargers turned in after a chromebook has been turned in.
Damages will be assessed by the librarians at the time of check in. Repairs will take place over the summer, and repair/replacement fees must be paid in order for the device to be re-issued in August.
