Principal Mary Anderson

Mrs. Anderson is a graduate of Delta State University in Cleveland, MS, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and her Masters in Educational Leadership. She taught elementary school for seven years prior to becoming a school administrator.

Mrs. Anderson lives in Chelsea with her husband and two boys. As a family, they enjoy spending time together, playing board games, and traveling on family vacations. Mrs. Anderson loves serving in the community in which she lives. She is dedicated to ensuring all students are safe, successful in school, and prepared for the future.

Assistant Principal Jessica Adams

Assistant Principal Jessica Adams

Mrs. Jessi Adams is a graduate of Auburn University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. She is also a graduate of The University of West Alabama where she received a Masters and Education Specialist degree in School Counseling and a Masters in Instructional Leadership. She has served as a 2nd Grade teacher, School Counselor, Administrative Assistant, and Assistant Principal at CPES. Mrs. Adams has received recognition for Teacher of the Year and School Counselor of the Year. She is excited for another amazing year at Chelsea Park.

Mrs. Adams lives in Chelsea, with her husband, daughter, and son. As a family, they enjoy traveling, going to the beach and lake, and Auburn Football. She is excited to continue to serve the students, families, faculty and staff in this amazing community. Go Hornets!

Administrative Assistant Hannah Burton

Administrative Assistant Hannah Burton

Mrs. Burton is a graduate of Auburn University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood special Education and a Masters degree in early childhood special education as well as Collaborative Teacher in grades K-6. Mrs. Burton also attended UAB where she gained certification in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Burton is a certified academic language therapist (CALT) where she specializes in dyslexia therapy. She taught special education at Chelsea Park for 13 years. She has spent the last two years serving Shelby County as a program area specialist for special education. While teaching at Chelsea Park, Mrs. Burton was recognized as teacher of the year during the 2014/2015 and 2019/2020school years. Mrs. Burton is excited to be returning home to serve Chelsea Park in the role of administrative assistant.

Mrs. Burton lives in Chelsea with her husband, David, and their two children Corbin and Sadie. As a family, the Burton’s enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing sports, traveling, Auburn football (War Eagle!), and horseback riding. Most weekends you may find them at the ball field. Mrs. Burton is looking forward to serving the students, faculty, staff, and parents of Chelsea Park and the community of Chelsea. Go Hornets!
