📢✨6th Grade Ellis Island Immigration Day is Tuesday, September 9th! ✨📢
At the beginning of the 20th century, millions of immigrants passed through Ellis Island in search of a new life in America. 🗽 Next Tuesday, September 9, our 6th graders will step back in time during their Social Studies class to experience Ellis Island Immigration Day! Students will take on the role of immigrants arriving in America, moving through stations, and even being welcomed by “Uncle Sam.”
👗🧳 Costume Reminder: Students should wear a simple costume to represent their assigned character. No need to buy anything — just check closets for clothes, add a few props or accessories, and they’ll be ready!

❤️🤍💙 This is always a favorite 6th grade tradition, bringing history to life in an interactive and meaningful way!
