We had a special guest speaker today to celebrate Law Day! Assistant US Attorney Alan Kirk, an OMMS alum, spoke to Mr. Civils’ and Wideman’s classes today about his job with the Department of Justice. Students learned about how the Bill of Rights is used in our legal system every day. He talked about court cases he has prosecuted, showed real trial evidence, and answered questions. Great day for Civic learning!!👍💯👍💯✅🎉🩵☺️💗

Today we honored our OMMS Registar, Amanda Garcia, as our Education Support Personnel of the Year for 2024-2025. Mrs. Garcia is a hard worker. If she does not know the answer to a question, she does not hesitate and keeps problem solving . She is very genuine, helpful and kind. She is so deserving of this award and has done such a wonderful job representing our school so well this year ! We can't thank her enough for her smile 😊, enthusiasm, hard work and commitment. She is an excellent math teacher who is dedicated to academically moving her students forward. She also has a spark and zest for life that is inspiring and contagious. We had another great day at OMMS! Today we welcomed the 5th graders from Mt. Laurel Elementary to visit our school. They enjoyed class visits , a chance to open a locker , toured the school and attend a pep rally with a performance from the OMMS Dance team , hear from our SGA President Hayden Wilton and school principal Mrs. Evers , and learn the spirit stick chant front the OMMS cheerleaders !
