As you are preparing for the week ahead don’t forget about the fun dress up days this week for $1 (all dress up proceeds go towards OMMS Athletic Boosters this week ). & the Holiday Snow Ball for 6th graders on Friday night (12/6/24) Ticket sales for the Ball end Tuesday on MySchoolBucks. Kids can purchase tickets at the door the night of as well. (Higher priced so get them in advance now !🙌🎄). Drop your 6th grader off & plan a fun night out or get that holiday shopping done. The proceeds from these events go to support the Athletic Boosters who in turn support our coaches. Let’s make them a success! The event for 7/8th graders will be in January on Jan 10th. 💙😊💙😊

Christmas 🎄 on the Mountain 2024 is almost here !! Presented by the Town of Indian Springs ❤️🎄⬅️☺️☺️☺️. Mark your calendars now ‼️❣️ Plus - your middle school kids got to see some of their teachers/coaches play knockerball this past week! This will be an opportunity available for kids (and parents) to do at the event on Dec 5th as well!👏🎄👏🎄☺️☺️☺️

Our 8th grade art students have been studying pottery. This past week they were able to go on a field trip to Earthbound Studios and make their own pottery 🩵❤️🩵❤️💪⬅️🙌🙌⬅️⬅️. Such a great hands on and engaging experience 👏🎉. And what a talented and well behaved group of young people representing OMMS. Thanks for taking them Mrs. Tolbert 💪⬅️⬅️⬅️🎉🎉🎉🎉

7th grade OMMS boys basketball had a big win this past week on the road 🏀💪🏀💪❤️🩵. Way to GOOM, fellas! Keep up the hard work ⬅️⬅️⬅️☺️☺️☺️🙌🙌🙌

"Thankful Coworker Friendsgiving " We are thankful for such an incredible OMMS PTO program and OMMS parents for providing not only an amazing lunch ~ but a duty free lunch for our teachers ❤️🙌❤️🙌⬅️☺️🍁🦃🍁🦃. Such a fun time to enjoy some laughs and smiles with each other with a brief moment to relax. Thank you 🙏💪⬅️ Happy Thanksgiving ❤️

🎉🧬 7th Grade Strawberry DNA Extraction Adventure! 🍓🔬 Our brilliant students got hands-on with science in Mrs. Gilmore's 7th grade class with Strawberry DNA Extractions! Students used lysis solution to break cell membranes, built filters, precipitated with isopropyl alcohol, and spooled the DNA fibers. What did they listen to while filtering? What else but Strawberry Fields?! 🎶🍓

The GOOM snack cart will be out and about during Fun Friday clubs! Bring your money and grab some chips, candy, or a cold drink! Proceeds support our amazing PBIS school store! A portion of tomorrow's proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots! ❤️🎅🏽💙
