🚨 The schools are aware of a gas leak that has closed Cahaba Valley Trace this morning. Our buses will not be able to service students between Hwy 119 and Heritage Parkway. This includes Heritage Oaks. Schools will be open and operating as normal. We understand that traffic may cause delays this morning. 🚨⬅️
Kids are having a great time in Gardening Club! Students measured and mapped our courtyard’s dimensions, planning out where our soon-to-be-constructed raised beds and greenhouse (thanks PTO!) will go. We even had a grasshopper friend join in 😁
High Flight buses have left and should be arriving at school at 5:30pm.

Today was Fun Friday Club Day! 💙❤️ The School Improvement Club launched the GOOM cart, a snack cart that visited each club to sell snacks & drinks. This is a fundraiser to build the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports) school store! Great things are happening at OMMS!
We appreciate your help in making sure that students are on time to school and to each class ~everyday☺️💯‼️. Every minute matters of instructional learning and your partnership means so much. We have a soft bell that rings as a warning when there is one minute remaining in the transition period. This is a prompt for students to be in their classroom preparing for instruction.
