Club Day at OMMS! Clubs met at the end of the school day today and students had a blast 💥!
Gardening club meets animal club today! We harvested our cabbage and kale while animal club members created a “race course” scattered with our crop for 3 Guinea pigs (Cinnamon, Maple, and Cocoa) and 1 rabbit (Bugs). It was hilarious!

Mrs. Nichols, one of our 6th grade history teachers, shared the interesting and complex history behind the events from the book, A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park, with our 8th grade ELA classes today. Students in Mrs. Acton's and Mrs. Calhoun's classes joined together to hear the backstory before they start reading this book in class! 📖
6th graders are learning about events that took place during the Cold War in Social Studies. Mrs. Higginbotham’s students recreated the Berlin Wall, complete with graffiti protests as was seen throughout West Berlin between 1961-1989.🤩✅🤩✅🦅🦅🦅

Hudson Brewer, Jackson Boyles and Drew Scarborough represented our school really well! ‼️⬅️💥‼️
