Goal

To equip students with the employability and technical skills required for employment and/or advanced training in the growing field of Automotive Technology.

Program Overview

The Career Technical Educational Center offers a simulated work experience for students interested in the Automotive Technology industry. Students are given the opportunity to prepare for the Automotive Technology industry through various means: ASE Education Foundation curriculum, simulated lab experiences, field trips, guest speakers, hands-on activities, community service/leadership experiences and work based learning opportunities at local repair shops, dealerships and parts stores. Many of our second year students will participate in a work based learning experience which is an invaluable experience. Through a comprehensive program, students work toward becoming college and career ready in a high demand career field. Automotive Technology students have the opportunity to further their knowledge and skills by participating in state and national leadership conferences through SkillsUSA. Students are also eligible to obtain nationally recognized industry credentials by completing standardized tests successfully. Are you interested in working in the Automotive Technology industry?
