As you are all aware, there is a threat of inclement weather on Friday, January 10th. The Once Upon a Time winter formal for 7th & 8th graders was scheduled for this day. We are taking safety precautions and rescheduling the formal to the NEXT day, Saturday, January 11, 2025. The time will be 4:30p.m.-6:30p.m. Please remember this is a fundraiser to support our athletics programs and coaches for our community middle school. The more to attend, the greater the memories, better sense of community as well! We are looking forward to having a true Winter Formal with all the right weather❄️🌨️

🧬✨ Our 7th-grade science students rocked the HudsonAlpha Lab Meet the Millers activity! 🔬 They built DNA with K’nex blocks, transcribed it into mRNA, and translated it into proteins to uncover a genetic mutation in the HFE gene. 🧩 The mission? To discover the cause of hemochromatosis in a Miller family member and calculate the probability of the other children inheriting the disorder. Amazing work, future geneticists! 💡👏
