Mrs. Tolbert's art classes have enjoyed making some amazing masks 🎭 this 9 weeks! These students have learned a lot about gesso , problem solving and color theory! The end result is gonna be some some great art work to cherish 🩵⬅️🩵⬅️💥💥💥🙌🙌🙌 way to GOOM !
This week the 7th (Kennedy/Owen) & 8th (Wallis/Watkins) grade Social Studies classes conducted a Mock Trial of Alexander the Great. It was a fun experience and great to engage cross level grades. 🙌⬅️🙌⬅️‼️‼️‼️💥🎊💥🎊💥

In partnership with the Greystone YMCA and Leadership Shelby County , OMMS wants to highlight the 7th grade initiative that Greystone YMCA is promoting to all current 7th graders - a free membership to the YMCA! Interested? Just stop by the Greystone YMCA and sign up or go online under membership and signup.
They have a ton of free activities for your middle school son/daughter and they will supervise them !
Basketball, robotics , volleyball , arts and crafts and pickle ball !
Of course , all 6-8 grade students are welcome !!! A membership to the YMCA for 6th graders and 8th graders is $31 /month. There is financial assistance available for those with financial needs.
