We're proud to share that Shelby Elementary School has received a Power To Play Grant from the Alabama Power Foundation! This wonderful support will fund a class set of pianos for our music room! With these new instruments, students will have even more opportunities to play, create, and shine. Thank you, Alabama Power Foundation!

Mrs. Sims's class loved to dress up for homecoming week!

The 2nd grade loved taking a trip to the Shelby County Arts Council for Liberty Day! 🗽

September is Attendance Awareness Month! Students are going to be recognized for having great attendance each month!

These students were the first ones to win new books at the book vending machine today for being drawn for earning recognition notices!

5th grade created their own “Peep Diorama” to represent their favorite lesson in history. Ex. Sinking of Titanic, assassination of Abraham Lincoln, Trail of tears

The fifth grade GRC class did an incredible job today at their debate.  Way to go debate ducks and the smartieants!

Mrs. Howard's pre-k class loved their glow day for the letter "G" on their ABC countdown to the end of the school year! 🐾
